Established in 1984 and based in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, we currently have over 50 active members. We are always looking for new members (especially men) prepared to don the greasepaint!<\/p>\n<p>If actually treading the boards is not your forte, <strong>members<\/strong> are also <strong>needed<\/strong> to help with the various other activities necessary to ensure \u201cthe show goes on\u201d, <strong>including make-up, costumes, choreography, scenery production, back stage, front-of-house and even direction!<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We usually perform three productions every year, including a pantomime and our productions have covered a wide range of theatrical styles including:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plays<\/li>\n<li>Comedies<\/li>\n<li>Dramas<a href=\"http:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-567 alignright\" src=\"http:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n-300x225.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/bats-theatre.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/87044433_657966964996518_5165120381610098688_n-630x473.jpg 630w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><\/li>\n<li>Musicals<\/li>\n<li>Murder Mysteries<\/li>\n<li>Pantomimes<\/li>\n<li>Variety Shows, Music Hall, etc<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We also aim to enter at least one entry each year \/ 2nd year into the Local Drama Festivals and this year is no exception with our original short play Trammel Net being entered into the welwyn and Cambridge Drama Festivals.<\/p>\n<p>BATS are also available to perform outside shows of 1-2 hours duration \u2013 we have music and drama material and murder mysteries available for all occasions!
